Japanese/English bilingual Otome fans, what games do you wish us English speaking Otome fans would enjoy?
So I'm new to otome games. I've been aware of the genre for years - I've actually been subscribed to this sub for several years because getting into otome games has sort of been on my to-do list, but I've only recently gotten into the genre in any meaningful way (so far I've played a bit of Starry Sky in Spring, Amnesia and Asagao Academy). Browsing vndb, I keep coming across the same issue - so many of the intriguing otome games are not translated. I'm especially upset about a vn based off of Phantom of the Opera (called PersonA something or other) that I was eager to play due to my love of the musical theater version of the story, only to find out that there is no translation available.
So, bilingual otome fans; are there any games you particularly enjoyed that you wish the rest of us English speakers could enjoy?
Bonus question: how did you learn Japanese? Are you a native speaker? If not, at what level of proficiency were you able to play otome games and other vn's?
